Ruby's Home for Good is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Magnolia, Texas. Established in 2017, we have a dual mission of helping horses in need and serving people impacted by trauma and hardship.
Our one-of-a-kind approach to wellness for both horses and people is rooted in the well documented knowledge that we truly are better together. Providing horses with a safe home and healthy environment allows them to truly thrive while bringing meaning and joy to our lives. Facilitating safe relationships and positive interactions allows for personal growth, skill development, and healing for our participants.

Not your typical equine program
Our approach is unique - bringing together horses who have experienced trauma and hardship, with people who have experienced trauma and hardship. Our results - unmistakable. Our horses overcome the impact of prior maltreatment, with improved physical health as well as enhanced relationship capacity and true connections with their human partners. Participants consistently experience improved personal wellbeing, enhanced relationship skills, reduced mental health symptoms, and a deeper connection to self and others.
We offer a Wellness with Horses program as well as an Equine Therapy Mental Health to meet the needs of our community.

About horses, and horses in need
Horses are incredible animals - intuitive, social, intelligent, and remarkably similar to us in many ways. In natural conditions they live in family units, form deep bonds, travel together to find resources, and enjoy a life that is both enriching and grounded.
Unfortunately, their life with humans can often lead to suffering - whether it's due to a lack of understanding, inaccurate knowledge, insufficient experience, or outright disregard.
At Ruby's Home for Good, we provide a safe and permanent home to horses in need. We honor their innate needs and characteristics while supporting their individualism.
